Stamping parts are various mold parts used to punch various pressures. Usually used in manufacturing, its shape and material determine the overall performance of the stamping part. Therefore, it is very important to choose the right material and the right mold. Usually stamping materials are carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other metal materials. Because this metal material has good electrical conductivity and diamagnetism, many punching machines use this metal material to make stamping parts to achieve better electrical conductivity and diamagnetism.

1. When the thickness of the stamping part is less than 2 mm, choosing a thinner stamping plate can improve the accuracy of the stamping part.
Because it will gradually decrease as the number of times used increases. Generally speaking, metal molds have higher requirements on surface quality, mainly because it contains metal fibers, which are difficult to punch and can be processed to improve punching accuracy and efficiency. The thicker the stamping plate, the rougher the surface and the less easy it is to process.
2. When the thickness of the stamping part is greater than 4 mm, attention should be paid to whether to select the plate with grooves and the size of the die when selecting the plate.
When choosing a plate with grooves, pay attention to its thickness, and the surface of the plate with grooves should have a good wear-resistant layer. If the groove on the sheet is too small, it is easy to damage the sheet during stamping, thereby affecting its surface quality. In order to improve the overall performance (such as strength and hardness) of stamping parts and improve the surface quality, materials with high hardness should be used. And some alloy materials usually have better hardness, so it can improve the surface quality of stamping parts. When selecting a sheet with grooves, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the surface quality can meet the requirements. If the quality is not good, it will affect the overall performance of the stamping parts, thereby reducing the service life of the stamping parts.

3. When the thickness of the stamping part is greater than 4 mm, a mold with a small thickness should be selected. In the case of the same material, the larger the selected material, the better.
However, when the thickness is greater than 4 mm, a large mold cannot be used, otherwise it will cause a lot of stress and deformation during the production of the part. In addition, if the mold has special requirements, such as size, material, etc., how to use the mold instead of the material must be considered. When the product is not allowed to be bent, a mold with a larger material cannot be selected, because when bending, the material cannot be completely filled, otherwise shrinkage deformation will occur. During the stamping process, the material may be deformed, so the choice of material must be careful. Selecting the appropriate stamping die according to the material is also an important factor to ensure stamping quality.
4. When the thickness of the stamping parts is greater than 4 mm, the use of stamping dies should be considered, and the most suitable stamping parts manufacturing process and mold manufacturing materials should be
selected according to the different requirements of the material and die size, so as to ensure that the materials can meet the requirements of the stamping parts. precision requirements.
At present, most of my country’s auto parts use castings or forgings. Generally, castings or forgings are used on parts such as front wings, cylinder blocks, and journals of automobiles, and then hot-pressed to make stampings or forgings, and then annealing, aging, and chemical treatment to make stampings or forgings. Stamping parts generally include stamping parts, molds and parts, and their shapes are mainly cylindrical, conical, iso-shaped parts and special-shaped parts. There are many kinds of stamping dies, and there are two commonly used stamping dies for automobile front fenders and stamping dies for automobile journals.
Balford has passed ISO9001 in 2017. We has over ten years experience on manufacturing motor housing, solenoid valve housing and sensor housing, focused on auto parts. Now Balford enter into solenoid valve housings and sensor housings industry that are mainly based on difficult deep drawing process.
We employ documented procedures for every step in the manufacturing process from initial program launch through steady-state production in order to ensure consistent performance. We engineer our processes to produce the desired results, monitor those results, and use what we learn to regularly refine our processes as part of our commitment to continuous process and efficiency improvement.
Many of our customers have been with us for 5-8 years or more. Year after year, they experience zero late deliveries and zero returns.
